During the lockdown, it is more important than ever that we find new ways to support children and young people in developing their relationship skills.

This helps set children up for life and can make getting through lockdown as families easier.

We are delighted to share the learning from Sport Birmingham’s Make A Difference (M.A.D) Programme with our partners at Teacher Toolkit and Parentkind

The Make A Difference Programme programme used sport and mentoring to support young people in their relationship learning and personal development.

Birmingham City University interviewed young people from the programme.
We have summarised this learning and our recommendations here.
